However, strong IP is not in itself sufficient for an investment consideration. SAS Investors aims to invest in companies with relevant technical experts already on board: experienced industry and technology transfer experts, Ph.D. subject matter experts, professionals with expertise in specific emerging technologies, and/or original inventors. In short, SAS Investors works to launch companies that provide expert-conceived, cutting-edge technologies that specifically address palpable industry obstacles.

The Fund's activities include venture investing, building new businesses, and growing entrepreneur's technologies and intellectual property into solvent, scalable companies.
